Clinic Sponsors

Clinic sponsors organize, promote and fill clinics. They locate and secure a facility, set the dates, and take care of all the details. Usually the sponsor will also ride in the clinic, and will make some money for their efforts. Below is a condensed version of what sponsors do. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact us for more detailed information.

Clinic Sponsor Responsibilities
  • Locate and contract a facility suitable for the clinic
  • Reserve accommodations for clinician – RV space with electrical hookup and water (preferably at the clinic riding facility). If Clinician is flying in, lodging, meals, and rental car or rides need to be arranged
  • Sign and return a contract with deposit to hold the dates
  • Secure an indoor location with electrical power for a classroom-style setting for the Classroom Introductory Session
  • Determine rider fees and spectator/auditor fees
  • Promote clinic, fill riding slots
  • Keep records on riders: who has paid, what they still owe, and contact information. Notify riders/spectators of all session times and locations
  • Collect remaining balance due from riders before clinic begins
  • Provide a P.A. system for all riding sessions. At minimum, P.A. system should have a wireless microphone that Clinician can wear during demonstrations, and multiple speakers so riders can hear in most locations in the arena. Volume should be adjustable. Clinician may be able to provide the P.A. system, depending on the riding facility
  • Consult with Clinician as to what electronics (video and sound supplies) each will supply at the clinic
  • If clinician is flying in, a well-trained horse for clinician to demonstrate on is required. Please discuss this with clinician well in advance of the clinic
  • Prepare/set up for all clinic sessions
